Berry-Cado Smoothie With Wonderful Creamy Texture

Avocado is an antioxidant-rich fruit with a fantastic creamy texture. It can be added to a sandwich or mashed up for guacamole. Moreover, avocado is an excellent ingredient in smoothies. Besides it adds a wonderful creamy texture to your smoothie, and also adds a noteworthy amount of healthy avocado oils – which are rich in omega fatty acids.

Natural oils give the nutty-flavored favorite its rich texture, while the high protein content makes it a satisfying meat substitute. Several studies even suggest that avocados’ ingredients help fight some forms of cancer.

And if you think a fat-rich avocado has no place in a healthy fruit smoothie – you better think again – healthy fats from foods like avocados are part of a well-adjusted diet.

Plus instead of a carb-rich smoothie – by including healthy fats in your drink you’ll be rounding out your ratio of carbs, and fats and even you can add protein (through any milk, yogurt, or protein powder). Now your smoothie will keep your hunger at bay for a longer period – and get you through a busy day with gusto!

You already know that smoothies are Kid-Friendly. So, a smoothie is a great way to get your kids to eat avocado. Raw avocado is maybe a bit too bold for them. In this smoothie, they may barely taste the avocado flavor – but they will surely enjoy the creamy texture.
